Take a look at how the New York Post is covering the “KatrinaGate” … in which we have two very corrupt politicians involving two Democrats from New York – a State Senator and a congressman – who seemed to have misplaced thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars that were supposed to go to victims of Hurricane Katrina. For shame. Oops… I seem to have misplaced the money!
Meet Rep. Gregory Meeks and Sen. Malcom Smith

In January, the Post reported:
State Sen. Malcolm Smith and Congressman Gregory Meeks have funneled hundreds of thousands of dollars, including taxpayer money, into a charity led by their spouses and cronies — an organization with almost no accountability on its spending.
Smith and Meeks, both Democrats, have championed New Direction Local Development Corp., a group based in their Queens districts that claims its mission is community development “in Far Rockaway and surrounding areas.”
Even failing to deliver a promise to a little league football team – they got not one cent. These are your “leaders” who are “concerned” for your community.
In February, the Post reported that another investigation is going on with another charity they set up themselves that pledges to help Katrina victims. $31,000 was raised, but only $1,400 seemed to have been given away to the cause. Shameful.
Well you really do have to hand it to the New York Post for this one. God knows if this was 2 white guy Republicans, the Newsday and the NY Times would be all over it. (Just stating the truth about a biased media).
And while I’m on a roll here, let’s not forget about this guy…

Another Dem congressman Charlie Rangel from Harlem – the little thief taking Carribean vacations on the taxpayer’s dime and acts like he’s doing nothing wrong. Like he deserves it. As if it’s all due him.
And do you all remember this coming from the mouth of House leader Nancy Pelosi back in 2006 about how she was going to clean up congress and how her congress is going to be the most ethical? Yet, she hasn’t asked Charlie Rangel to step down, has she?
“Nancy Pelosi said in the very beginning this is going to be the most open, honest and ethical Congress in history,” Cantor said on NBC’s “Meet the Press” Sunday morning, “and what we’re seeing, she’s breaking that promise every day.”

Nancy actually believes, even in the light of Rangel’s scandal, that this is the most ethical congress the U.S. ever had. Is she serious? Does she really think we’re that stupid? With all this obvious detest for Democrats in this country lately, you would think she would be a little more careful. I never seen such anti-democrat sentiment in this nation ever. Seriously. The every day Americans are coming out of the woodwork and they’re saying “enough is enough”. Of course, I predicted this in 2006.
Again, kudos to the New York Post for doing it right as usual because otherwise, people will have to look pretty hard to find any scandals involving those innocent Democrats!
